ELIIS in Lithuania: Significant Work, a Growing Community, and Real Impact
When we took our first steps in Lithuania in 2020, everything started with just a few kindergartens looking for more convenient, modern solutions for their daily work. Today, after several years of consistent effort, ELIIS has become one of the most important digitalization tools for preschool and pre-primary education in Lithuania.
This year has shown us that we matter – we are seen and heard. Our system is used daily, our initiatives bring communities together, and the contribution of our team has become significant. From the very beginning, our goal was clear – to help educational institutions transition to a more efficient, digitalized way of working.
ELIIS – More Than a System, It’s a Partnership
At present, many kindergartens across Lithuania use the ELIIS platform. These include private and public kindergartens, small institutions in towns, as well as large educational establishments in major cities.
We are proud that:
We have organized hundreds of trainings and consultations for kindergartens all over Lithuania.
We have visited numerous institutions in person – because we believe that face-to-face communication with educators creates a genuine connection.
We have created instructional guides, video materials, and methodological recommendations – so that ELIIS would be not just a tool, but a true assistant in everyday work.
Every day, we see how our system helps kindergartens better organize their work, save time, communicate more effectively with parents, and most importantly – dedicate more attention to children’s education.
When We Realized We Had Something Others Didn’t...
While working with the very first kindergartens in Lithuania, we noticed one recurring question that kept coming up in meetings, phone calls, and emails:
“Do you have a mobile app?”
And when we replied:
“Yes, it’s fully functional – for teachers, parents, and administrators,”
we could see genuine relief, surprise, and interest.
That’s when we understood – this is more than just a feature. This is our advantage.
What is still being developed elsewhere is already working with us!
The ELIIS mobile app is not a “beta version.” It already allows teachers to work in real time – without any extra steps or the need for computers. Parents can see everything instantly – their child’s attendance, daily activities, notes, and photos. Administrators can keep track of what’s happening in the institution, even when they’re not physically there.
And this is not just a theoretical promise. It is a tool used every day – already transforming the work of kindergartens in Lithuania.
That Was a Turning Point
This functionality in Lithuania was especially valued by kindergartens that had already tried other solutions but faced limitations on mobile devices. With ELIIS, they were finally able to do everything smoothly – directly on their phone or tablet.
For us, this moment was significant – one of the key steps that helped ELIIS establish itself in Lithuania as a serious, strong, and modern solution.

ELIIS – Recognized on a National Scale
In 2024, ELIIS was invited to the EDTECH event series, which covered 11 different Lithuanian municipalities. It was an excellent opportunity to present ourselves as a technological solution for the entire education sector, including municipal education departments, as well as school and kindergarten leaders.
We were also invited to important meetings:
At the Estonian Embassy in Vilnius, where together with other educational companies we discussed joint digitalization projects.
At the Vilnius City Education Department, where we explored potential data integration and large-scale implementation of ELIIS.
This shows that our work is valued not only at the institutional level but also on a national scale.
Christmas Contest: Uniting Kindergartens Across Lithuania
One of our most distinctive achievements is the annual Christmas Contest for all Lithuanian kindergartens, which we organize on social media. It is not only a creative activity but also a festive project that unites communities, brings joy to children, and strengthens the bonds between educators.
In 2023, more than 250 kindergartens participated.
In 2024 – a record number: over 350 institutions.
Prizes for the contest are provided by our partners from the education, business, and cultural sectors, while the winners are selected by a professional jury consisting of education experts, municipal representatives, and pedagogy professionals.
Moving Forward: Growing Together with Lithuanian Education
ELIIS is not a finished product – we are constantly evolving together with our users. Every piece of feedback, every question, and every suggestion is an opportunity for us to move forward.
Our upcoming goals:
Integration with the Vilnius municipality database to simplify administrative work in the city’s kindergartens.
Expanding functions tailored to the specifics of Lithuanian education, including STEAM project management, child progress reports, and individualized learning plan management.
Strengthening cooperation with municipalities across all regions of Lithuania.

Over these years, we have accomplished more than we could have expected. We listened. We adapted. We grew. And most importantly – we helped Lithuanian kindergartens become modern, transparent, and strong institutions.
